XR7: EarthStrike is distributed as a zip file. Use the links below to download this zip file and when the download is complete simply unzip the file to the directory of your choosing. Navigate to the directory and double-click the XR7.EXE file to execute the game. COMPLETE DISTRIBUTIONS Download via TUCOWS.COM (recommended) Download via SIMTEL.NET UPDATED EXECUTABLES The latest executables will be made available on this page on an ongoing basis. These are meant to be minor bug fixes and require the media from the distribution to be usable. Major fixes will result in a new distribution. The distributions will always represent the more tested versions of executables so only download the more recent executables if you are encountering the problem that the new executables fix. December 29, 2003 : v105-executables.zip 650k bytes; memory leak fixed - you probably won't notice the difference as it was rather small but on low memory systems the fix could help) December 14, 2003 : v104-executables.zip 650k bytes; (fixes a memory leak) If you believe that there is a problem between the game and your video card, consider replacing the xr7.exe file with xr7-test.exe. This debug version of the game is used to troubleshoot video compatibility issues.
